If a picture speaks a thousand words …. How many words speak a moving picture? Pictures in motion are the modern equivalent of the original man’s first artistic expression- cave drawings. Pictures came long before speech as a tool of communication.
Abu Mahjoob Creative Productions (AMCP) aims to condense and encapsulate human communication to raise public awareness, deliver a message or simply tell a story in the most striking and effective manner. A picture sometimes speaks a thousand words: AMCP pictures.
Established in 1999, AMCP was able to make a name for itself both on the regional and international levels in a short period of time; capitalizing on the fame of "Abu Mahjoob," in the Arab region and beyond, created by AMCP's co-founder and Creative Director Emad Hajjaj.
The name Abu Mahjoob, which translates to “father of the hidden,” reveals so much by pretending to hide it. It plays reverse psychology, subtle conclusion and a cynical sense of humor to make the reality of life around us even more somber and striking than ever.
Today, AMCP is a full-service advertising agency, which is committed to delivering the highest levels of creativity and ideas, both on the regional and international levels, with media knowledge on how to best execute these ideas.
Still, AMCP is a non-traditional advertising agency, in the sense that it has in-house capabilities to offer unique products; such as comic strip storyboards, character creation and identification animation and much more.
Be it in the realm of politics and economics, or culture and art, AMCP is about making short cuts to people’s hearts and minds.
AMCP first made an impact in public awareness campaigns. The agency 'carved' it leadership in this niche through the successful utilization of Emad Hajjaj's creative output, which later evolved with the adoption of other talents in all areas of marketing communications.
Characters and storyboards developed by AMCP for corporate or public awareness campaigns are very successful. Campaigns for FastLink, Export & Finance Bank, British Council and LEMA are among the campaigns that showcased the unique, unmatched capabilities of AMCP.
